Three Dead After Horror Crash on Romney Road, Lydd

Tragedy struck in Lydd as three people lost their lives in a devastating crash on the B2075 Romney Road.

Deadly Smash Involving Dacia and BMW

Kent Police were called to the scene at 6.20pm on Sunday 18 April 2021. The collision involved a black Dacia Duster Ambiance and a white BMW M135i.

The driver of the Dacia, a woman in her 50s, died at the scene. Two male passengers in the BMW — one in his 20s and another in his 40s — were also pronounced dead on the spot.

Driver Airlifted with Serious Injuries

The BMW’s driver, a man in his 30s, was airlifted to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash caused a road closure that lasted until 6.30am the next morning.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicles beforehand to come forward.
