Three Dead in Horror Crash on Romney Road, Lydd
Fatal Smash Shuts Road Overnight
Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a deadly collision on the B2075 Romney Road in Lydd on Sunday evening.
The crash, involving a black Dacia Duster Ambiance and a white BMW M135i, happened at 6.20pm on 18 April 2021.
Three Killed, One Seriously Injured
The Dacia’s driver, a woman in her 50s, and two male passengers in the BMW – one in his 20s, the other in his 40s – were all pronounced dead at the scene.
The BMW driver, a man in his 30s, was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.
Police Appeal for Crucial Eyewitnesses
Romney Road remained closed until 6.30am the following day as investigations took place.
