Man in 20s Dies After Horror Crash on A14 at Stowmarket
A man in his twenties has tragically died following a serious collision on the A14 at Stowmarket. Police were called just after 10:30pm on Saturday, 8 May, after reports that a lorry had struck a pedestrian on the westbound carriageway near junction 49.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Paramedics scrambled to the scene, but despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the site. Police have informed his next of kin. The A14 was shut for several hours while officers launched a full investigation into the crash.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
The road reopened shortly after 5am Sunday, but Suffolk Police are urging anyone who saw the collision or was driving nearby beforehand to come forward. Dashcam footage could prove vital.
