Four Arrested in Hackney Firearms Sting After Police Stop

Four suspects were hauled before Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 26 May, following a dramatic police stop in Victoria Park Road, E9, the day before.

Conspiracy Charges Over Firearms and Ammunition

Mazlum Sigirtmac, 30, of Coleville Estate in Hackney, along with Tia O’Garro, 23, of Sandbrook Road, and Bailey McKenzie, 24, who has no fixed address, all face serious charges. Each is charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and conspiracy to possess ammunition.

Abu Faye, 21, from Queens Drive, Hackney, is also charged with the same offences.

Custody and Court Dates Set

  • The three men – Sigirtmac, McKenzie, and Faye – have been remanded in custody.
  • Tia O’Garro, the only female suspect, has been released on bail.
  • All are due to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 24 June.
