Five Years On: Hunt Continues for Golf Club Killer in Norris Green

Detectives are still hunting the mystery attacker behind the brutal assault that led to the death of Terence “Terry” Dunn five years ago in Norris Green. Terry died aged 49 on 24 September 2019 after being viciously attacked on 18 June that year.

The Savage Attack

The terrifying assault happened around 3.40pm on Wapshare Road. Terry was struck with a golf club by a man who swiftly fled after a witness confronted him. Despite four arrests, the suspect remains on the run.

Who Is the Suspect?

  • White male, early 20s
  • About 5ft 7in tall
  • Wearing dark clothing with a hood up

Police Plea for Justice

Kevin Clague, head of Merseyside Police’s Serious Crime Review Unit, vowed to crack the case and bring closure to Terry’s family.

“We are determined to find this man and seek justice. We urge anyone with information to come forward,” Clague said.
