Man Charged with Murder After Fatal Colindale Stabbing

A murder charge has been filed following a stabbing in Colindale that left a 22-year-old dead. Police were called to Montrose Park at 5.54pm on Monday, 31 May, after reports of a fight involving a group of males.

Officers discovered Al-Sadiq Mohamed Ishaq-Adam suffering from a stab wound. Despite emergency services’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at 7.19pm.

Victim Identified After Fatal Attack

Initially known as Azadeeq Mohamed, family overseas confirmed the victim’s full name as Al-Sadiq Mohamed Ishaq-Adam, born 17 August 1998. A post-mortem on 3 June at Northwick Park Hospital confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.

Investigation and Arrests Underway

  • The Met’s Specialist Crime Command launched a homicide investigation.
  • Twelve males have been arrested on suspicion of offences including affray, robbery, and murder.
  • Ten have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
  • 18-year-old Nick Kaneza, from Elstree Road, Hemel Hempstead, has been charged with murder and will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 7 June.
  • Another 18-year-old, Mohammed Yusuf of Capitol Way, NW9, charged with robbery, appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 4 June and remains in custody.
