Teen Arrested Over Fatal Stabbing of Terry, 46, in Northlands Park
Terry, 46, was found critically injured in Northlands Park in the early hours of Sunday 11 July. Despite being rushed to hospital, he sadly died from stab wounds.
16-Year-Old Boy Held on Murder Suspicion
A 16-year-old boy from Basildon was arrested on Wednesday 28 July, suspected of murder. A 19-year-old woman is also in custody, suspected of assisting an offender. Both remain held while investigations continue.
Six Others Released on Bail
Police had earlier arrested six more suspects: four men aged 31, 41, 45, and 46, a 42-year-old woman, and a 17-year-old boy. All have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

“We believe people with crucial information haven’t yet spoken,” said Detective Chief Inspector Louise Metcalfe from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
