Man seriously injured after van hits pedestrian near Dagenham East Station
Horror crash on busy Dagenham junction
Police rushed to the scene of a serious road traffic collision near Dagenham East Station on Thursday afternoon, 13 March. At around 2:49 pm, a large van smashed into a 37-year-old man at the junction of Shafter Road and Rainham Road South.
Life-changing injuries, but no arrests yet
The victim suffered severe injuries described as life-changing, though thankfully not life-threatening. Emergency services quickly took him to hospital for urgent treatment. So far, no arrests have been made and police continue their investigation.
