Man in 30s Critically Injured After Traffic Cone Attack in Barking

Chaos erupted at around 8.30pm on Saturday, 4 September in Station Approach, Barking, when a traffic cone base was hurled during a roadside brawl. The flying object struck a man in his 30s, knocking him to the ground.

Serious Head Injury After Violent Incident

Patrolling officers quickly stepped in to give first aid before the victim was rushed to hospital with a critical head injury. His condition remains serious.

Police Hunt Cone-Thrower

East Area CID detectives have launched a full investigation. They are urgently trying to identify everyone involved, especially the man who threw the cone.
