Pedestrian Killed in Horror Crash with Jaguar on Brighton’s A259
Police are hunting witnesses after a tragic smash on Marine Drive in Brighton left a man dead. The victim, a 40-year-old from Saltdean, was hit by a silver Jaguar at around 11.22pm on Friday 19 November, just east of Brighton Marina.
Man Dies at Scene, Driver Hurt
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the Jaguar driver, a 69-year-old Peacehaven man, suffered minor injuries.
Authorities closed both directions of the road temporarily so specialist officers could carry out vital investigations.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
