Man Found Fatally Injured in Caley Road
Police launched an investigation after a man was discovered with fatal injuries in Caley Road at around 3.15am on Saturday, 4 December 2021.
Two Teenagers Charged with Murder and Robbery
On Tuesday 7 December, the Crown Prosecution Service authorised murder charges against 18-year-old Ciaran Stewart from Hornchurch and a 17-year-old boy from Ilford. Both are also facing charges of conspiracy to commit robbery.
The pair were remanded in custody ahead of their appearance at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 8 December.
Four More Men Arrested in Connection
- Three men from Essex, aged 18, 25, and 28, remain in custody on suspicion of murder as the inquiry continues.
- A 41-year-old man from Hertfordshire was released on bail until 28 December pending further enquiries.
- A 33-year-old Essex woman arrested for assisting an offender has also been bailed until 29 December.
Police investigations are ongoing as detectives hunt for more answers in this shocking case.
