Motorcyclist Rams Police Officer Before Dashing Off
Shock on New Hythe Lane as a blue Suzuki motorbike allegedly crashed into a police constable around 2.45pm on Thursday, 9 December 2021. The officer had ordered the rider to stop near Larkfield village hall, but the bike collided with him before the rider fled on foot.
Officer Hurt, Suspect Arrested
The officer was rushed to hospital with injuries but has since been discharged. Jordan Stimson was arrested the next evening at 6.25pm, charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and driving without a valid licence.
Man Remanded and Police Seek Witnesses
Stimson is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13 December. Police are urging anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to come forward.
