Man Who Spat at Woman Outside Westfield Stratford Sought by Police
A shocking incident at Westfield Stratford City has sparked a police hunt. In December 2021, a 19-year-old woman was approached by a man asking her on a date. When she said no, he returned the next day and spat at her.

Detectives have been working hard to identify the man responsible. Now, they’ve released a photo hoping the public will come forward.
Detective Constable Marlon Caldwell said: “Because of this man’s actions, the victim now completely avoids Stratford Westfield. No one should have to change their behaviour due to someone else’s awful conduct.”
“Incidents like this are unacceptable. We’re determined to bring the person responsible to justice. If you recognise him, please contact us.”
