Man Arrested for Strangling 12-Year-Old in Southampton
Police rushed to Windermere Avenue, Southampton, at just before 4pm on Tuesday, February 22, after reports a stranger had strangled a 12-year-old boy near Millbrook Towers.
Quick Police Response Leads to Arrest
Officers sprang into action and arrested Lee Mackey, 48, from Goodwin Close, Southampton, shortly after the attack.
Assault Charges and Court Appearance
Mackey has been charged with assault by beating. He’s now in custody and set to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
