Late-Night Brawl Leaves Man Fighting for Life Outside Nightclub
Just after 1.30am on Sunday 27 February 2022, chaos erupted at Vinyl Club on Fir Vale Road. A 20-year-old man from Sunbury on Thames was brutally attacked and left with a serious head injury.
Serious Assault at Vinyl Club
The victim fell to the floor during the altercation and was rushed to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. Police say the incident happened near the rear of the nightclub, which was busy at the time.
Bournemouth Man Arrested
A 23-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Dorset Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
“We know there were many people inside who may have seen what happened and could help our investigation,” said Detective Inspector Mark Jenkins of Bournemouth CID. “If you saw anything or captured footage on your phone, please get in touch.”
