Canterbury man receives driving ban Aleksei Tsarkov, aged 34, of Wincheap, Canterbury, was sentenced on 9 February 2022 at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded guilty to driving without a license or insurance and driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Chartham, on 26 July 2021. When stopped he gave a reading of 203 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine. The legal limit is 107 microgrammes. He was disqualified from driving for a total of 22 months and fined £553. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £55 and costs of £85.
