Tragic Death of Beloved Performer Maria Dickinson, 72, After Blackpool Crash
Maria Dickinson Collapses by Mercedes and Dies
Maria Dickinson, 72, from Blackpool, tragically died on Saturday after a collision on Westmorland Avenue the previous day. A Mercedes had stopped in the road to let Mrs Dickinson exit. As she walked behind the car, she suddenly collapsed and was hit by the vehicle.
She was rushed to Royal Preston Hospital with serious injuries but sadly passed away.
Police Urge Public to Come Forward
The police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch. Witnesses can contact the police on 101, quoting log 1219 of 25 February.
