Young Swindon Drug Dealer Nabbed with Cash and Designer Gear
Femi Dadey, just 19, was slammed with a four-year sentence at Swindon Crown Court on Friday (1/4). He pleaded guilty to possession of criminal property and running a class A drug supply line.
Phone Under Pillow Exposed Dark Drug Empire
Police swooped on Dadey’s Bath Road home on January 24. Officers found him asleep with a phone hidden under his pillow. This device was blasting bulk text messages to vulnerable users, pushing crack cocaine and heroin across Swindon.
£30,000 Profit and Luxury Loot Uncovered
Authorities estimate Dadey’s drug hustle raked in over £30,000 in just nine weeks. During the raid, they seized around £2,000 in cash and £4,500 worth of posh designer clothes bought with ill-gotten gains.
Detective’s Warning: No Safe Haven for Drug Dealers
“Dadey controlled a drugs line supplying crack cocaine and heroin to vulnerable users in Swindon. The phone hidden in his bed showed clear evidence of drug dealing. He earned thousands and lived a lifestyle beyond his means,” said Detective Sergeant Joe Shanklin.
“I’m glad he’s now locked up for four years. This sends a clear message: anyone trying to run drugs in Swindon will be caught. We will keep hunting offenders like Dadey.”
