Power Cut Hits Rookley and Nearby Villages
A major power outage has plunged Rookley and surrounding villages into darkness this Sunday evening. Scottish and Southern Electricity (SSE) reported that around 11 postcode areas are affected by a high voltage fault.

The blackout hits these postcodes hard: PO38 3LR, PO38 3NF, PO38 3NG, PO38 3NQ, PO38 3NR, PO38 3NS, PO38 3NT, PO38 3NU, PO38 3NX, PO38 3NY, and PO38 3PB.
SSE Promises Power Back by Midnight
An SSE spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for the loss of supply. We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed. We are working hard to get the power back on as quickly as we can.”
