Man Arrested After Worksop Assault Adds to Growing Investigation
Police swooped on a house in Anston Avenue, Worksop, after reports of a man being punched and battered inside. The victim suffered facial injuries, but thankfully none are life-changing.
Third Suspect Nabbed in Brutal Attack
On Friday, a 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He’s now out on conditional bail as inquiries continue. This brings the total arrests in the case to three.
Earlier, two men aged 42 and 20 were grabbed just hours after the alleged assault on 15 April 2022. Both were also released on conditional bail while investigations roll on.
Police Demand Witnesses Step Forward
Detective Sgt Georgina Gallagher said: “This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable. We will always do everything in our power to keep violence off our streets.”
She added: “Our enquiries are ongoing. If you have any information, please come forward.”
