Predator Stephen Lancaster Jailed for Sexting Schoolgirl and Hoarding Child Abuse Images

A Teesside man used SIX fake online identities to target a schoolgirl for sex. Stephen Lancaster, 46, hounded the girl with lewd messages, including one asking: “Can I see your boobs?”

Police Crack Down on Sick Social Media Groomer

Officers swooped after tracing Lancaster’s email to Snapchat profiles. His iPhone, seized in a Middlesbrough raid last September, revealed a sick stash of illegal images and videos of children. Experts found six Snapchat aliases loaded with sexualised chat history and obscene material.

  • Two category B files – one image, one video
  • 20 category C images of children
  • Messages like: “Are we going to get naughty?” and “Can I see your boobs?”

Judge Slams Lancaster’s “Predatory” Online Lies

Teesside Crown Court heard the offences ran from June 2019 to last September. Prosecutor Robin Turton revealed Lancaster posed as a teenager to bait a girl into stripping for him.

“Very serious offending… flirtatious conversations where the child thought she was chatting to a teenager,” said Judge Howard Crowson. “Lancaster’s behaviour was consistent and predatory.”

The Marton man pleaded guilty to inciting a girl to expose herself and distributing indecent images.

Jail Sentence and Ten-Year Sexual Harm Order

Lancaster, with no previous convictions, was jailed for two years and four months. He’ll also face a sexual harm prevention order and keep police on alert for the next decade.

Defence lawyer Michele Turner said Lancaster “wants to work with agencies” to stop reoffending, but the judge made clear the damage caused was profound.

Residents of Birchwood Road, Marton, will now have justice served after Lancaster’s twisted online grooming and child exploitation came to light.
