Early Morning Crash: Man Arrested After Deadly Land Rover Smash
Emergency services rushed to the scene at 5.47 a.m. following a serious crash involving two vehicles in the early hours.
High-Speed Horror on Wrong Side of Road
A blue Land Rover Freelander and a blue Nissan Qashqai collided in a shocking smash. Police believe the Land Rover, driven by a 20-year-old man, was speeding westbound and driving on the wrong side of the road at the time.
Driver Arrested, Family Supported
The 20-year-old Land Rover driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Officers confirmed the male victim’s identity has not yet been released. Specially trained police are aiding the family through the ordeal.
Witnesses Urgently Needed
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash on Junction Road to come forward. They also want dashcam or CCTV footage linked to the incident.
