BMW Occupants Flee Scene – Police Hunt Two Men
The people in the white BMW fled before emergency services arrived. Police have not identified them yet and are appealing for witnesses.
Detectives also want to speak to anyone who saw two men crossing the M65 at Greenhead Lane bridge about five minutes after the crash.
“Our thoughts are very much with the people injured,” said Sergeant Helen Parkinson from Lancashire’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
“A family liaison officer has been assigned to support the elderly man’s family.”
“We’re keen to hear from anyone with information, especially if you saw the two men crossing the M65 or have dashcam footage.”
