Woman Arrested Over Liverpool City Centre Murder

Detectives have arrested a 34-year-old woman from Fazakerley on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man in Liverpool city centre.

The tragic incident happened on Saturday 16 April at around 5:50pm outside an internet café on London Road. Emergency services rushed the assaulted young man to hospital, but he later died.

Ongoing Investigation and Witness Appeal

Detective Chief Inspector Terry Davies said: “Although we have made an arrest our enquiries are still ongoing.”

He urged those who may have seen the attack or any suspicious vehicles at the time to come forward. The area was busy, with people waiting at bus stops, walking past TJ Hughes, or driving along London Road.

Davies added: “If you were there or have mobile phone or dash cam footage, please get in touch.”
