Shoreham Lifeboat launched to an overdue motor boat

Shoreham all weather lifeboat launched on Monday evening making it our sixth call in eight days to a report of an overdue motor boat making its way from Littlehampton to Brighton in stormy weather conditions.

Shortly after launching, we were stood down after the vessel was located entering Brighton Marina. The Shoreham coastguard team was called to check all was ok with the vessel and those on board.

The call was good intent
