Bus Horror: Man Grops Woman on Route 455 – Police Hunting Suspect
On Thursday evening, a woman faced a terrifying moment on a Route 455 bus at Barnard Close. At around 7.15pm, a man who boarded the bus sat next to her and suddenly stroked her leg.
The brave woman immediately challenged him and moved seats. The suspect then jumped off the bus before police could intervene.
Police Release CCTV Image – Need Public’s Help
Detective Inspector Jonathan Potter, from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command, urged anyone who recognises the man to get in touch. He said:
“I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man in this picture to come forward and speak to police. We need the help of the public to identify this man so that he cannot carry out any further attacks.” “The bus network is an extremely safe place for people to travel, but when incidents like this occur, we will use all evidence to bring offenders to justice.”
No Arrests Yet – Enquiries Ongoing
No arrests have been made so far. Police continue to investigate the shocking incident to catch the perpetrator.
