Woman Arrested After Brutal Dog Attack in Knowle

A woman has been arrested following a savage dog attack in Knowle on the morning of June 2. The victim, a man injured in his garden around 11:25am, suffered serious wounds that could change his life forever.

While the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, they are severe enough for the victim to remain in hospital. Avon and Somerset Police quickly moved to detain the woman on suspicion of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control.

The dog involved, thought to be an XL Bully, was sedated and taken away by police dog handlers. Authorities have assured the public there is no ongoing risk to local residents following the incident.
