Police Appeal For Dashcam Footage

Detective Sergeant Carla Deighton from Bolton district said, “We’re treating this incident very seriously. Thanks to fast work from our officers, a suspect has been detained. We’ve boosted high-visibility patrols to keep local people safe.”

She added, “We understand this will cause concern. We’re working hard to bring justice to a victim simply going about their day.”

Detectives urgently want to hear from anyone who witnessed either incident or captured footage of a dark grey Seat Cupra, registration XL02 DEC, on dashcams between 5pm and 7.30pm. The vehicle was seen travelling from Bolton to Manchester during this two-hour window.
