Rochdale Drug Dealers Nabbed After Flashy Lifestyle Uncovered
Rashid Hussain and partner Szenm Asghar have been locked up following a major GMP crackdown. The couple, living it up in Rochdale and Bury, funded their flashy lifestyle by flooding the streets with Class A drugs.
Prison Sentences for ‘Sniper’ Drug Duo
- Rashid Hussain: 7 years and 6 months for possessing criminal property and dealing Class A drugs.
- Szenm Asghar: 3 years and 4 months for the same offences.
GMP revealed the pair splashed tens of thousands on designer gear, luxury cars, and even spent £3,000 on two cats. Their cash came from pushing heroin and crack cocaine on the streets.
Raid Exposes Drug Empire
On December 7, 2021, officers raided Hussain’s home, seizing digital scales, packaging, drug ledgers, and mobile phones. Texts and voice notes showed bulk marketing and boasts about earnings.
More than £20,000 in cash was found hidden – with some notes brazenly displayed in the front room.
With Hussain behind bars, Asghar didn’t stop. She kept the business running, enjoying her designer lifestyle funded by drugs.
Second Raid Uncovers Massive Cash and Class A Stockpile
In March 2022, a follow-up search at Asghar’s home uncovered £15,000 cash, 86g of heroin and crack, plus 1kg of phenacetin – a drug adulterant used to bulk up products.
Ten mobile phones were seized, many acting as a “drug hotline” under the slogan: “Sniper Line Active – Best Gear in Town.”
Accounting notes detailed eye-watering weekly takings, with thousands of pounds changing hands regularly.
