Police Bust Into Friskney Home After Safety Concern

Police stormed a house on Fold Hill in Friskney, Lincolnshire, after a safety warning sparked alarm on Tuesday afternoon.

Standoff Ends With Drama Early Wednesday

Officers first made contact with a woman at 2.49pm before tense talks kicked off around 4.30pm. The drama escalated overnight, with officers breaking into the property at 1am on Wednesday.

Two Injured Boys Found; Woman Arrested

Inside, officers found two injured boys. The 39-year-old woman living there was promptly arrested. Paramedics rushed the boys to hospital, but thankfully their injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.

Road Closures and Investigation Underway

The police, including armed officers, shut down the road for hours to keep locals safe. A force spokesperson confirmed there’s no ongoing threat to residents.

“Mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct has been made,” the spokesperson said.
