Bomb Scare Shuts Down Forest Hill Ambulance Hub

A major cordon sealed off Davids Road in South East London last night after a suspicious device was found near the Forest Hill ambulance hub.

Bomb Squad Rush in as Emergency Crews Evacuate

Specially trained Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officers from the Met Police were scrambled to the scene just before 8pm on Tuesday, December 8. They joined local officers to assess whether the device posed a threat.

Ambulance crews stationed nearby were ordered to leave immediately. A Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) was also deployed to support the operation.

False Alarm – Device Deemed Not Threatening

A Met Police spokesman confirmed officers were called after reports of a suspect item. After a thorough examination, it was quickly declared not suspicious, allowing the cordon to be lifted and services to resume as normal.
