Fatal M4 Crash: Two Women Dead, Three Men Arrested

Deadly Smash on M4 Eastbound

Avon & Somerset Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal two-car collision on the M4 eastbound between junctions 22 (M49) and 21 (M48) at around 12:05am yesterday.

Chaos at the Scene

Emergency crews found both cars had veered off the road, causing multiple casualties. The National Police Air Service and Gwent Police rushed to assist at the scene.

Two Women Dead, Others Hospitalised

Tragically, two women passengers died at the scene. Their families have been informed. Three other passengers from the same vehicle were taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Three Men Arrested Following Crash

Police have since arrested three men travelling in the other car. They remain in custody as investigations continue.
