Man Charged After Brutal Stabbing in Worthing
Serious Assault Rocks Tennyson Avenue
A 32-year-old man was stabbed in Worthing on the evening of Wednesday, July 26. The attack unfolded around 8pm on Tennyson Avenue. He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but has now been released.
Suspect Bailed But Faces Multiple Charges
Jordan McFarlane, 20, unemployed and from Billet Road, Barking and Dagenham, was arrested soon after. He faces several charges: wounding with intent, involvement in crack cocaine and heroin supply, and possession of a knife in public. McFarlane appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 31, and was released on bail with strict conditions ahead of his next hearing on August 29.
Police Seek Witnesses and Vital Information
Detectives urge anyone who saw suspicious activity around Tennyson Avenue at the time to come forward. It’s believed McFarlane was seen walking with a blonde woman, heading towards Amelia Park shortly after the attack.
