Man, 23, Stabbed Outside Ladbroke Grove Tube in Early Hours
A 23-year-old man is in hospital recovering after a stabbing outside Ladbroke Grove Tube Station at around 1:30am on August 7.
Quick Police Response and Arrests
Police rushed to the scene after reports of the attack and conducted a thorough search. The victim made his own way to hospital, where medics confirmed his injuries are non-life-threatening.
Two men in their 30s have been arrested in connection with the stabbing as investigations continue.
Tube Station Shut and Reopened
Ladbroke Grove Tube Station was temporarily closed for safety reasons following the incident. London" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Transport for London confirmed the station reopened at about 6:30am once the situation was under control.
Met Police Lead Investigation
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called at about 1:30 am on Monday, 7 August to reports of a man stabbed on Ladbroke Grove, W10. Officers attended and carried out a search of the area. A 23-year-old man subsequently self-presented at the hospital with a stab injury which is not believed to be life-threatening. Two men, aged in their 30s, have been arrested in connection with the investigation. Enquiries continue.”
The Met has secured a wide crime scene and is probing the full circumstances of the stabbing.
