Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a pedestrian died  in Tunbridge Wells – UKNIP

Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a pedestrian died following a collision in Tunbridge Wells.

The collision involved a silver Mercedes CLK 320 and happened at around 11.15am on Thursday 17 August 2023, on the A26 London Road, uk/topic/southborough/">Southborough, near to Yew Tree Road.

Police and ambulance crews attended and the pedestrian, a man in his 50s, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Enquiries are being carried out by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

Motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any dashcam footage, which may assist the investigation. Footage can be uploaded via our online portal Evidence Request from Kent Police and Essex Police
