Pedestrian Dies in Tunbridge Wells Crash – Police Hunt Witnesses
A man in his 50s tragically died after being hit by a silver Mercedes CLK 320 on the A26 London Road, Southborough, near Yew Tree Road. The fatal collision happened at around 11:15am on Thursday, 17 August 2023.
Driver Injured, Serious Collision Unit Investigates
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead on arrival. His next of kin have been informed. The Mercedes driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now probing the crash to uncover exactly what happened.
