Police have launched an attempted murder investigation after two teenage boys were hit by a grey BMW on Monday afternoon in Stepney, East London. The vehicle pursued the pair into Scott Street moments after a stabbing attack nearby.

The attack happened on Wellesley Street, where two teenagers were stabbed and rushed to hospital. Witnesses say the assailants, two Bangladeshi teens, tried to cover their tracks by dashing into a nearby Sainsbury’s and changing clothes.

One witness revealed the brother of one stabbing victim went after the suspects in a furious manhunt, reportedly mowing the two down with a car.
