CCTV Image Released in Maidstone Rape Probe
Detectives hunting a man linked to the reported rape of a young woman in Maidstone have released a CCTV image. The shocking attack took place in Brenchley Gardens between 2am and 3.10am on Sunday, 10 November 2019.
Victim Walked Through Park with Stranger
The victim, a woman in her late teens, was walking through the park with a man she had just met. The pair had spoken earlier that evening at a bar on Week Street but did not know each other. Police say the man is the main suspect in the reported rape.
Police Urge Public to Speak Out
Detective Sergeant Jo Hazelwood said: “We are following several leads and have now released a CCTV image of a man who could hold vital information. We urge anyone who recognises him or has information to come forward.”
