He is wanted on a recall to prison and is believed to be in the Southampton or Winchester areas.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries into locating Murray so they can speak to him.
These efforts will continue, however police are also asking the public to report any information to them regarding his whereabouts.
Police said anyone found to be harbouring him to deliberately obstruct their attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves.
