Tragedy Strikes Notting Hill Carnival: Two Dead in Separate Attacks

Notting Hill Carnival celebrations turned grim last weekend as two people lost their lives in separate violent incidents, casting a dark shadow over West London’s biggest street party.

Mother Stabbed Amid Carnival Chaos

Cher Maximen, 32, a mother enjoying the festivities with her child, was brutally stabbed during the carnival. Witnesses were left horrified as police rushed to provide emergency aid before paramedics arrived. Cher was immediately taken to hospital in critical condition but sadly died from her injuries this morning.

Tourist Fatally Attacked in Queensway

In a separate attack on Monday evening, Mussie Imnetu, 41, a tourist from Dubai, was found unconscious with a severe head injury in the Queensway area. Despite hospital treatment, he succumbed to his injuries, adding to the carnage of the weekend.

Police Launch Investigations, Appeal for Witnesses

The Metropolitan Police have opened investigations into both attacks. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring the perpetrators to justice.

The tragic deaths have sparked serious concern about safety at major public events, with calls growing for better measures to prevent future violence at gatherings like the Notting Hill Carnival.
