Coastguard Urges Caution: Don’t Touch Suspicious Finds
The first informants did exactly the right thing by calling 999 and asking for the Coastguard,” a Selsey Coastguard spokesperson said.
“Ordnance comes in all shapes and sizes. Some items found nearby beaches have still been highly explosive. If you spot anything unusual on the beach, don’t touch it – call the Coastguard immediately.”
