Man Arrested After North London Shooting Shakes Early Morning Crowd
A 25-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, 28 December, suspected of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He remains in custody as police continue their investigation.
Woman Shot Near Busy Party in Tottenham
The drama unfolded just after 6:20am on Tuesday, 27 December, when the emergency services were alerted to a shooting at the junction of West Green Road and Grove Park Road, N15. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene but found no injured parties there.
However, by 6:50am, officers confirmed a 24-year-old woman had arrived at a North London hospital herself. She is currently undergoing treatment, with her condition described as “not life-threatening.”
Witnesses Urgently Needed to Crack the Case
The woman was reportedly shot in the West Green Road area shortly before 6:30am. Despite the early hour, a nearby party meant plenty of potential witnesses were around.
Police are asking anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious to come forward. “Any piece of information, no matter how irrelevant it may seem, could be crucial in piecing together what took place,” they said.
