Woman Attacked Near Beaconsfield Road – Hero Bystander Chases Off Suspect
Late on Sunday, February 27, 2022, a woman was assaulted while walking along a footpath near Beaconsfield Road at around 11pm. The attacker, a man, approached her suddenly but fled after a quick intervention from a passerby.
The suspect ran off towards the railway underpass. Thankfully, the woman was unharmed.
Suspect Arrested – Investigation Ongoing
Police arrested a 47-year-old man with no fixed address on the morning of Tuesday, March 1. He remains in custody as enquiries continue.
