The heartbreaking first picture of Lilia Valutyte, the nine-year-old girl who died from a suspected stab wound in Boston, Lincolnshire, has been released.

Police Called to Fountain Lane Horror

Lincolnshire Police were alerted to an incident on Fountain Lane at around 6.20pm on Thursday. Officers found Lilia at the scene shortly after arrival.

Two people were arrested by Friday morning as part of a murder investigation into what authorities have described as an “isolated incident.”

Town Mourns, Family Supported

“Our thoughts remain with Lilia’s family and friends,” said Chief Superintendent Kate Anderson. She called the young girl’s death an “utter tragedy.”

Lilia’s parents have been informed and are now receiving support from specially trained officers.

Boston Borough Council leader Paul Skinner added: “The town is united in mourning following the very sad and tragic death of a nine-year-old girl in Boston.”

Police have not confirmed details about Lilia’s nationality or the suspects arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
