Fatal Crash Closes A2 Coastbound Near Black Prince Interchange

A serious head-on collision has shut the A2 coastbound this Saturday morning near the Black Prince interchange. Police and emergency services were called just after 6.30am following the crash involving two vehicles.

Long Queues and Road Closures

Traffic is being turned around and diverted at the on-slip of the Black Prince interchange. Drivers are reported stuck in long queues as they scramble for alternative routes. London Ambulance Service and the Metropolitan Police remain at the scene handling the incident.

Separate Incident Halts A2 Eastbound Near Bexley

A spokesman for National Highways confirmed a separate issue has stopped traffic on the A2 eastbound between the A223 and A2018 near Bexley. This comes close to the full closure already in place near Dartford related to the earlier fatal crash.
