A man was rushed to hospital with stab wounds after a shocking attack in Hucknall in the early hours. The victim, injured in his body and legs, received quick first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital. Luckily, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Two Men Arrested at the Scene
Police swooped in Nabbs Lane at around 1.10am on Wednesday 11 January and arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Another man, also 27, was detained nearby under the same suspicion.
Crime Patrols Boosted in Hucknall
Officers have increased patrols in the area to reassure the public as investigations continue. The police are determined to catch all involved.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Sergeant Lauren Morgan of Nottinghamshire Police said:
“We respond fast to serious violence, especially knife crime, to protect the public. In this case, officers provided first aid immediately while gathering evidence at the scene.
“Our investigation is just beginning. We want to hear from anyone who saw anything or has dash-cam or phone footage.”
