Tragic Crash on Churchill Avenue Claims Man’s Life
A grey Renault Megane careered off the road and smashed into a tree at around 9.10pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. The horror unfolded on Churchill Avenue, heading towards the town centre.
Scene Between Two Busy Roundabouts
The collision happened between the Park Farm Road roundabout and the junction connecting Canterbury Road and Black Bull Road. Emergency crews rushed to the scene but the driver, a local man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at once.
Kent Police Hunt Dashcam Footage to Solve Mystery Crash
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit has launched a probe and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Detectives are especially desperate to see any CCTV or dashcam footage showing the grey Megane before the smash.
