Officers were called to Castle Gate in Nottingham city centre at around 4.15am yesterday (12 January 2023) after reports that a man approached a woman walking home. Before the woman pushed him away, he exposed himself. A second woman said she was approached by a man while waiting for a bus on Bentick Road in Radford. At around 10 p.m. yesterday, the man exposed himself before fleeing down Bentick Road. Police have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of two counts of indecent exposure. This was an upsetting incident for these two women, and they are being supported by officers,” said Detective Sergeant Lisa Jones of Nottinghamshire Police. “We responded quickly to both incidents and conducted thorough investigations, which led to the arrest of this suspect. Nottinghamshire Police treats all offences of this nature extremely seriously. “Although we have made an arrest, we are keen to trace witnesses and I would ask anyone who witnessed either incident or has any other information to contact us as soon as possible. “Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote incident numbers 50 or 782 from January 12, 2023.”
