Fire crews called to a blaze above Costa Coffee in Morden

This afternoon, four fire engines and approximately 25 firefighters were dispatched to a flat fire above a costa coffee on London Road in Morden. The fire destroyed a portion of the first-floor flat. Firefighters treated one woman on the scene for smoke inhalation. The Brigade was called at 1.39pm, and the 1 was out by 2.40pm. Firefighters from Wimbledon, Sutton, Tooting, and Sutton were present. The fire’s origin is being investigated.
