At 7.54 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023, Dorset Police received a report of concern for the welfare of 54-year-old Jose Smith Gonzalez. Jose was last seen on Friday, January 13, 2023, and last communicated with family on Sunday, January 15, 2023, when he appeared upset. Jose is described as being 5’7″ tall, with short greying hair and possibly a greying beard. He usually wears spectacles.
